Our experience with Trail Appliance in Kelowna was great! Salespeople were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We purchased a refrigerator within an hour of our arrival at Trail’s showroom. Process was smooth and salesman covered all the details and answered all questions we had. Delivery was three days later. It went very smoothly also. Workers were very careful removing our old fridge and installing the new old. Please to say it was a nice experience and would recommend others to visit Trail Appliance for an appliance.
Trail is my go-to place for appliances. During Black Friday they greeted and assisted me after a couple minutes of browsing. Compared to the other appliance stores I went to where I was not approached by anyone after 10+ minutes of browsing; I ultimate left those stores without chatting with anyone and confirming my purchase with Trail. Do not hesitate to use this company.
I was unfortunate enough to buy a faulty fridge from trail appliances that died within the first week of ownership, I realize that this is not necessarily their fault however its how they dealt with it that warrants this 1 star review. When I initially called trail they informed me that they physically can not help me and I would have to contact the company directly. After 1 hour on the phone They had informed a local service center to contact me for an appointment. This still left me without a fridge for a week. I emailed my sales associate who responded with a standard copy / paste response acting somewhat helpful, however he didn't respond to my follow up email ( extremely unprofessional to ghost a customer) The whole point of buying a product from a store is the fact that you can get after sales support, that's why you pay a mark up. During this process I was informed that I would be unable to return the appliance the minute it was loaded off of the moving truck. To make matters worse on my initial bill of sale they charged $50 me to swap the side of the door without telling me that they were going to charge me. As someone who has done this job before it takes about 10 minutes your first time using basic hand tools, $50 is absurd. I've been told by many people that I should have purchased my appliances from costco since they actually provide customer support after you purchase. If I would have been stuck in the same situation I would have been able to return the appliance and swap it for a new one.
Have had two wonderful experiences dealing with Neil Ashik @ Trail. The appliances purchased were just basic models for an elderly parent yet we were treated like they were high end costly ones. He helped us with selection, pricing, delivery and installation. Excellent assistance and communication by email when required too. Highly recommend.
We purchased a washer and dryer Electrolux very happy with this product. Tristan and Quinn delivered and installed our items. They were careful respectful and polite and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Great job guys and thanks so much. Phil and Lisa
