Overall I’d give 3 stars. Rooms desperately need renovations. It’s pretty run down now. I’ve stayed here for 35 years and it’s sad to see the state it’s in. Location is the best. Staff are great but it’s clearly understaffed as far as cleaners go. Pool area is lacking, a few plants or flowers would make it a lot nicer. Maybe some music too. And why not add a hot tub? Hot tub was quite popular in the past. Would be nice to see the owner start caring about this place. Especially considering what the fees are. I wanted to add: HEIDI the front end manager is amazing. She is pleasant, accommodating and really great to deal with. Our kids also love her!! If I could give 5 stars to Heidi I would, also the gentlemen that works in the office in the evening is also great, no complaints at all to either of them!
We’ve been to Tiki Shores every summer for years but never again. The place is poorly run, in disrepair and filthy. They absolutely do not have any pride in their rooms. The kitchens barely have any utensils, lights are dim or don’t work.The outside is covered in webs and dust. The location is fantastic but there are many other options.
I would not recommend. Extremely dated. The only thing was the view. The kitchen is dated the 2 forks spoons knives were mismatched discolored & old just like they came from a thrift store same with the old 2 plates mug and glasses The tiny mini fridge was caked with frost and did not keep food cold had to buy a cooler. Overpriced for sure NOT impressed at all.
I am fully convinced that the only reason this place survives is due to its location. It is overpriced and poorly managed. On the first morning I was walking through the parking lot making a little video and doing some commentary and one of the owners had the nerve to confront me and ask why I was filming. Obviously she was nervous about something. Definitely would not recommend this place.
Fantastic staff and location. The rooms really are dependent on the strata owners, but the facilities are in a great location.
