We would strongly recommend anyone and everyone to plan a getaway at The Royal Kelowna....from the moment we arrived ...we received first class and professional service in every possible way and situation from all associates and management. We stayed in the 2 bedroom premium which exceeded our expectations .. .everything was clean, professionally designed and staged …quality appliances , beds, furniture and accessories ... very spacious . The view of the lake and mountains from the suite was spectacular and came with a large outdoor covered deck and patio furniture. The pool and hot tub area is at the top of the hotel which was so great...again a unbelievable view. We extended our stay two times...didn't want to leave...it was so quite and peaceful ... yet so close to the downtown core for shopping and restaurants. The Royal Kelowna in our opinion is the best place in town to stay in every way!
Great location, friendly staff secure parking lot, very spacious room. Also very well equipped, every pot, utensils, laundry, balcony was massive and great view, the list goes on. Only one downfall was the linens, towels don't have the greatest feel. Overall very accommodating stay. Thank you.
Don't be deceived by the shiny photos and good reviews. At this price, we expected more than what we walked into. The hotel lobby was hard to find and it looked like the part of the parking lot. We thought the ambience of hotel next door was even better. Upon check-in at 5:40, 40 minutes after their suggested time, we were informed that the dishwasher in our room was still running. The room was much more outdated compared to the photos, and the towels were old and dingy. 1/3 of the towels smelled very strange, and the edge was yellow. One of the lights kept blinking on and off, and two were out. We could hear the neighbor's tv sounds until 3am during our stay (2 nights). You cannot expect any details or service level you would imagine from a 4 star hotel. There is no complementary water. At the pool floor, there is a vending machine for your beverage but no hotel staffs for your safety. Even considering the short supply of hotel/rental properties during summer, we were very disappointed, and wouldn’t go there again. We’ve been to many hotels in Canada, US, around the world and it wasn’t definitely 900 dollar worth experience per night.
The Royal Kelowna is an amazing hotel. It is a nice taste of luxury when you are away. The pool and hot tub area had great views. The location of the hotel right on the waterfront with boardwalks provided nice areas for walking. The location was close to restaurants downtown and the casino was attached to the building! Couldn't ask for more.
Wonderful amenities, with outstanding rooms/suites, with excellent pricing. We had such a wonderful time, we extended our stay. The staff was helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to all. The family was very impressed with this hotel. Overall EXCELLENT!
