This hotel is decent. It is close to the lake park and on the same street with all of the downtown district shops. It is a pleasant walk around the town. The hotel itself feels dark inside and a bit dated, but overall an okay stay. There is surface and underground parking. The access is easy and the parking is well lit.

You cannot beat this location. Bars and restaurants outside the door, marina down the street. Hotel is clean but dated (it's listed as a 3 star!). Our room had access to a huge balcony overlooking the main drag (2nd floor) which was lovely for a night cap and people watching. The breakfast was surprisingly plentiful. The staff were really great, anything we needed they were happy to help with (from a broken glass to needing more hangers to helping us when we booked a room). I would stay here again.

Room was HUGE but showing its age. Lively view over the bar in the back of the hotel which also overlooks the lake and mountains. Front desk staff at check in and evening were not welcoming and not helpful with shuttle service. Final day morning check out staff were absolutely lovely. No wheelchair access to the lobby which also meant difficulty hauling suitcases up the stairs to check in, then up more stairs to the elevator. Alley from back parking to front of hotel was definitely not the safest experience. Facade and lobby were very pretty. Room was quiet, which was a nice surprise.

What an "adventure" I have had these last few days, and if it weren't for the incredible staff at the Royal Anne... This place is amazing. I arrived stupid early and they had my room ready, stupid early. My departing flight got cancelled, and they let me stay in my room a few extra hours to figure out my next steps. Then they gave me an extra night at the same amazing rate I originally had (I had booked as a wedding block of rooms). Then (and this is the sixth and seventh start you don't see), when another wedding guest had inadvertently confused his reservation and blamed staff, the front desk clerk was incredibly gracious and helped him at every turn. It was not her fault, she could have told him off, but the hotel staff are so kind and thoughtful, instead they simply got stuck in and helped him out. Did I mention the room cleaner who helped me with my wedding outfit, or the catering person who realized we were leaving the wedding cake out overnight and it would need to be refrigerated, so we retrieved it/saved it. Or how about the cleaning staff member who, in seeing we'd left our door open (we were checking out) ran out to us on the road to let us know we'd left our door open because she didn't realize it was intentional. Parking is tough, but man, do the staff ever make up for it. I am so grateful to the entire team. They must be doing something right to have this many happy and dedicated people. Thank you for being a bright and stable spot in an interesting weekend.

The continental breakfast was good. The staff taking care of the breakfast room were excellent. The rooms were good but my back was sore after a couple nights from the beds, and the walls are very thin, we could hear the couple next to us enjoying their stay. Great location except the Craft Beer Market plays very loud music on the weekend.
