My friend and I stayed in the hideaway hut and and it was amazing! The drive up was beautiful! The hideaway hut was spacious, the beds were comfy, and it was such a fun and amazing experience! There was outlets to charge our phones, a fan, lights inside, and an amazing view of the stars at night. We even saw some shouting stats from the meteor shower. The facilities were also clean and tidy, the showers were nice and a great view when washing dishes too! We went to the lookout spot and relaxed and watched the sunset and that was a highlight of our visit. We only stayed 2 night but would have loved to stay longer! Will 100% be back again and would totally recommend! Amazing experience!
Currently staying 10 nights at The Lost Moose and we absolutely love it. It is worth the drive up the mountain to be in the beautiful and much cooler space. The bathroom and showers are amazing and make your camping experience so much more enjoyable. (Like other reviewers, another stall for the men would be good) We came during a heat wave and campfire ban but it was still lovely. Some people had fires and I'm assuming the owners informed them they couldn't and they had the propane pit the next day. Also the water turned off at the bathrooms and I called to inform them and it was fixed promptly. I could go on forever on all the great things about this property but you should just come and see yourself! We are in site #8 and our tent is tucked nicely into the trees with lots of shade. There is another little spot for our changing shelter. We are beyond happy with our site choice. Finally, we had a few deer walk right through our site which was so fun for the kids! We will definitely be back :)
We had the Privilege of renting out the entire Lost Moose for our wedding in July. The cabins were clean and well stocked. The Glamping sites were the same, clean and very well made. The campground was also well spaced out and private from site to site. The showers and the Bathroom at the campground were also very well designed and cleaned often. The entire process from booking to checking out was exceptional. We will be back there and would highly recommend staying there. Thank you Jordan and Shauna for sharing your property with us!
This was was such a delight! We were in site 14 for the first 2 nights. It wasn't in the trees as much as the other sites, but it was still very private. The bathrooms! Best bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground. Would be nice for another stall for the men's bathroom. Nice hot water for the showers! Lots of wildlife on the road up to the campsite, we saw about 20 deer the one night. And a coyote! Also! The rec site just near the campground had a beautiful spot to watch the sunset with a bench to sit on, and some cool trails nears cliffs!! Also!!! We had no where to stay for our last night in Penticton, and the host set us up for the night nearby which was wonderful!! Great stay, great place.
Hands down the nicest camp site I've ever stayed at. We stayed in the glamping spot #2. It faces the west, so we had stunning sunset views. The facilities were immaculate. Great showers and dish washing station. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. The sites are also very well spaced out, so you feel like you have some privacy.
