Sunshine Market has gone way, way downhill. I’ve shopped there for eight years. I was there the other day and the first thing that hit me was the smell of the place. Horrible. Bought some veggies and a bag of potatoes. When I got home I noticed a terrible fishy smell emanating from the bag they provided. Brown foul smelling “goop” all over everything. Tossed it all in the garbage. 30 bucks worth of food. Could have taken it all back but I just couldn’t bear the thought of the smell of the place. The prices are SKY HIGH. It’s always been more expensive to shop there but it’s been convenient if I needed something on the way home. Good thing Save-On Foods is building a new store in the Upper Mission. Wonder if the health inspector has swung by The Sunshine Market lately. So disappointing. I will never enter that store again.
Picked up these already made shish-kabobs ! Lovely little grocery , bakery shop !
This place has gone downhill under the new ownership. Produce is terrible; use to be great. Everything is overpriced. Can’t wait for the new Save-On to open.
Food is over priced and not good anymore. The lunches use to be good, but that has changed.
A really friendly local store with great produce who love to support the community.
