Too hot to handle.
Cons: The temperature. The AC was not on when we arrived (in July), so the room was above 40*C. Common spaces such as the bathroom are not chilled and do get very hot. The room consisted of a bed and approximately 20 cm on each side, we could barely fit our bags. Be carefull if your stay is during summer.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Breakfast was nice; pancake batter and grill available. Very well located. Great spot for meeting people.

The staff were great and friendly, however, if you're wondering whether to spend an extra $10-20 for a nicer place I'd advise doing so, I'd say my stay was not worth the price of (I'm currently staying in the Ramada in Golden and the room was pretty much the same price). The room's floor was covered in crumbs and dirt, the bathroom smelled a lot, doors were being slammed and people were shouting outside the room until very late every night, kitchen and common areas were also very unclean. For comparison, I recently stayed at the Hi Hostel in Jasper it was incredible.

Stayed over for one night in a private room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a small parking lot, but it fills quickly--was recommended nearby street parking options. The room and common areas were air conditioned, although the unit in the bedroom struggled to cool the room. Wi-Fi was reliable. Shared washrooms weren't sparkling clean, but weren't filthy either--could have used a bit more regular cleaning. Great location close to downtown.

This could have easily been a 5 star review if it weren't for the vent blasting -50 degrees Celsius air at supersonic speeds directly at my door which makes the room sound like the interior of an F-35 jet engine 24/7. Staff couldn't do anything about this. The rest is all good though...free breakfast...nice rooms...good location. Just can't understand why this aircon unit can't be shut off at night.

I give two star to this facility because of the friendly and nice staff.
Considering the price I paid for the room $239 - including tax for two night stay, the comfort the room provided were below my expectations:
- The sheets were smelly, same smell as the sheets in hospital.
- The window has no screen so I was not able to open the window and risk the mosquitoes.
- Take a look at the shower pic!
- The most disturbing thing for me was the fan - see the movie- in front of my room, being on all night and blowing the air toward the door of the room. I could feel the wind blowing through the crack of the door all night! slept with my jacket on.
I should mention again the staff were pretty friendly and nice.
