I Like going to do my shopping at the Safeway grocery store downtown. I really like the staff there. Very friendly and very professional. The ones that stand out is the older security guard there, and the First Nations lady who works in the Deli. They make me feel very comfortable and welcome 💯👍, and the rest of the staff are very polite and courteous. Thank You Everyone there for my pleasant experience everytime I go there 🙂
Great little grocery store. Close and convenient for I live downtown. Staff is polite, and the prices are comparable to other nearby alternatives. I would give it 5 stars however it's small size does limit options on some items.
Shout out to Karen the cashier at the downtown Safeway who was working Monday January 30 @ approximately 2 pm. She went above and beyond. I have a client who needed a wheelchair and knew that this Safeway had one for customers. Karen went and looked all over the store for it, she found it and happily brought it to us. She was happy, gracious and extremely helpful. Go Karen go, your great customer service doesn’t go unnoticed.
It's a great grocerie store over all, if you shop there sales you can find yourself saving money. However it is a bit pricier than if you would shop at other grocerie stores. If you live in the area the extra money spent is worth the convenience however if you have some time you could save money shopping at other stores. Its a good store for when your in a pinch and will continue shopping hear due to its convenience!!
Everything was great. It's in walking distance of my Apt. Cashiers were friendly and helpful. Those who were filling shelves were gracious when asked where something was and would guide you to the right place either personally or with perfect directions. The store manager was proactive and engaged in getting me the service I needed. Love the Deli, bakery, produce, sandwich and soup bar, frozen entrées, health care, home care, etc. It's all good. You had everything on my list. Well done, everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍😊😊😊😊😊
