Go elsewhere. Creepy guy with artificial compassion. Only continued here due to lack of vets in area. He's scared of larger dogs like Rottweiler. If you need to put your dog down, absolutely do not allow Oz to do it. They aren't supposed to freak out part way through as happened with him twice. You already will feel guilty, but when you have to get the dog to calm down so he can die, it's awful.

The Staff at Rose valley and Dr May truly are amazing humans.
They shared in the saddest day I experienced in my lifetime when I had too say goodbye too Goobie my dog of 20 years.
They were professional, compassionate, understanding. And truly helped me find peace in Goobies end of life.
Thank you all so much! Your job is not easy and I thank you for all you have done for us!! When the time is right we will be back with a new pet!

Dr. Mei is such a great vet! The staff are super friendly and there's kitty cats that live there that you can pet and give some love to! Super grateful that this is Milo's new vet.

Always so friendly. Dr. Oz is super helpful and patient with my nervous pup. Appointment times are honoured. You don’t sit there and wait forever. Great vet!

We had a very sad experience at Rose Valley.
We saw Dr. Proudfoot on two occasions. He told us that our lovely girl had a heart murmur with no compassion after having us wait in a small room for an extended period where our girl had got very anxious and distressed. Dr. Proudfoot totally lacked empathy and bedside manner when informing us of such a significant diagnosis.
Dr. Oz showed more compassion however he did advise us to stop an evening diuretic medication which caused our girl significant discomfort and distress. She did improve when he advised us to put her back on the medication however with her heart condition it would have been better for her to have not gone through this experience. We were not given any explanation as to why we should stop this medication.
On July 3rd our lovely girl died at home in our arms. We did not inform Rose Valley as our experience had not been positive with them. Today we received a sympathy card, we have no idea how they found out but getting the card has brought back memories of the unnecessary additional suffering which our dog experienced at this veterinary hospital and their sympathy is unwanted.
