Came in for Afib at 7:15am and was out at 9:15am. The triage staff where kind and eager to help. The nursing staff was also kind and the team work very efficiently together. Jeffery the ER was a 26 year veteran at the hospital was understanding and got the cardio conversion started right away. I would like to give my thanks to everyone involved today with my Afib cardio conversation. I hope other patients experience. Great caring professionals here. Again thank you. I and my little family appreciate all that you all do.

I am now finding out how bad my experience was at this emergency room. I was brought in from search and rescue and by ambulance, and eventually diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder and possible fracture. They did set the shoulder back and then I was told to wear a sling for only one week and go to physio. No recommendation of a follow-up when I get back to my province, nothing. I've done physio for 3 weeks and my therapist suggests that I go see a doctor. Now my doctor is discovering that I do have a fracture and completely torn rotator cuff tendon. Clearly they did not take my injury serious enough and investigate as far as they should have.

Well coming from someone who has had FAAAR to much experience with hospitals. We honestly have some of the nicest medical staff I've encountered. I've had four complete hip replacement surgeries , shattered my pelvis, head trauma, had pancreatitis, reconstructed nose surgery 2 times, twenty pins in my upper thigh, pins in my wrist, and Actually maxed out on the amount of times a person can have a defibrillator used on them to revive them getting a paulse, so they had to jam a I.V. into my hart .So they can use adrenaline to bring me back. And that's just some of my terrible medical history. That being said, I feel I am qualified to give my opinion of our Kelowna Hospital compared to other Hospitals. Actually the day before yesterday I received my second hernia surgery at KGH. So I have some more mesh to add to my collection.lol. The staff in the recovery room were second to none. By far my worst experience was at Royal Columbian Hospital.Just thank yr lucky stars you don't live near there, and we have KGH. With there amazing surgeons(like Dr Wilson) and staff. Keep up the good work. Your compassion is felt by thousands . We thank you..
P.S. my butt still hangs out of these darn gowns/potential streaker appearal;)

I had the worst experience in this hospital. I went to emergency because I was pregnant and bleeding with pain. They had me almost 6 hours waiting in the waiting room, not even one of the nurses came to me to check on me, I was literally crying of pain and they didn’t gave me a pill or something. I miscarriage mostly there and in the washroom in the waiting room. They didn’t even offer a pad or anything they just walked by like nothing. This happen in May and since then I didn’t do a review because it’s so traumatic to even remember this. I hope I don’t have to come back here.
I don’t know what is going on in the health system in Canada but it’s horrible not just the lack of doctors but also how health care staff approach situations leave a lot to desired I know they are collapsing but the lack of empathy it’s what scares me the most.
I hope nobody else has to go through for what I went through in this hospital.
