I found Handyman Connection while searching for a Painter for the inside of our new home. I was fortunate to speak with Sherry regarding our move/new home. Sherry has supported us, negotiated us through all the twists and curves we have had and we have our Painter at our new home now. She has been outstanding in her support, service, and standing by us all the way through. Our painter Doug, did our kitchen several years back and he is the one Painting our new home. We are thrilled to have such a talented craftsman paint our home. We have no concerns the job will be well done. We are very happy to have contacted Handyman Connection to do this project for us. Disappointing, unprofessional, over-priced. I needed a 50A hot tub connection. I was initially advised that only labour would be provided and that I'd need to provide the materials, so I ordered the 50A spa pack and 50A breaker for my main panel. Handyman came and provided a quote for $1,680 for labour and estimated materials to be $300-500. I then gave him the 50A spa pack which had arrived and he said that will work and save me some money. He then offered to collect the materials and finish the job same day. I agree, thinking I'm all-in for ~$2K — the labour quote plus $300-500 of materials and a discount for the $250 spa pack I've provided. He returns and as he's finishing the final hook-up, he says the material costs are going to be closer to $700. All-in-all, I ended up paying $2,356.84 to Handyman Connection and $250 to Amazon for the spa pack. I'd already been quoted $2,200 for the job by another electrician, and I had an indicative quote of $2,000 from another (they wanted $150 to visit and firm up the quote) — both of which were given photos and the distance of the cable route. At no point was I told what the final price was until it was too late. I now need to install a protector plate and patch up the two holes in the drywall. Kicking myself that I didn't do the job myself.
Doug did an amazing job assembling a children’s bunk bed! Friendly, professional, and efficient, he made the experience smooth / seamless from start to finish. Thanks also go to Sherry for helping coordinate everything for our project! We will definitely reach out for the next project…
