My sisters and I gave our mother a $150 gift card for Mother’s Day. She picked up a bunch of flowers (assorted planters and a few other plants). Most of the plants died within a short period of time and my sister found some bugs on the plants (not aphids but something similar). My mother lives in a condo on the 2nd floor (with no other plants) so the bugs were on the plants from the store. My mom went into the store but they wouldn’t do anything without a receipt. She didn’t get one as she used the gift card. She gave up and my sister went in the pictures of the bugs - they said it wasn’t from them and nothing they could do - oh but she could by a replacement plant for $29.99. My sister ended up buying this bug spray to try and salvage the plants for my mom. This is absolutely the worst customer service - just disgusted by this. I’m only posting this now as I’ve just heard the story during my visit. Would strongly encourage the residents of Penticton and surrounding area to shop elsewhere - better products, prices and customer service policies.

What a beautiful store! I loved all the variety of products within, the flowers and plants were beautiful, the clothing, jewelry and bags were lovely and everything else was very tasteful.

Very disappointing. I purchased four bundles of daffodils buds from GW as a spring treat and only one bloom made it. The rest of the buds just shrivelled up without opening. I wouldn’t usually return something like this but it was really disappointing. So was the store’s response. They would only offer an exchange (didn’t want to chance it again) or an in store credit saying this is their policy. I agree with that if the product sold isn’t defective; this clearly was. I buy a lot from GW but I don’t think I’ll be buying cut flowers from them again.

My Children always give me a $100-$200 gift certificates for Gardenworks for birthdays and Mother’s Day,etc. I have spent hundreds on Rosebushes, garden plants, and fishpond equip. I just spent $57 (yes I said $57) on one rose bush a couple weeks ago with a tag that showed real red roses and it just bloomed with white and pink so I don’t know what it is? I took a pic to proved what happened to the store today. I’m a senior and I had carried this to the car, hauled it to our home in the country, planted, fert and watered it. The only way Gardenworks would help me was if I dug it up and returned it. I had asked for a discount on another rosebush. Nope, just dig this one up and return.
