I felt extremely offended by these people. First of all, try asking for people's permission before you take photographs of them. My point there is that your behaviour assumes a negative outcome and therefore creates one. I realize they have positioned their business in a neighbourhood with a reputation. That's their fault, they could relocate. But, to be so openly prejudicial toward potential customers, I'm surprised they stay in business. A famous person once said that if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. You are certainly part of the problem.
In Penticton for vacation and was so happy to find a Filipino store, as well as find Ube ice cream!! Brings back childhood memories of snacks I used to have as a kid.
I went to ask what time it was. They didn't bother to inquire about what I wanted. They just rudely said no.
Philipine/Asian stuff. Good stuff, friendly staff, but sometimes took long time to fill up new order for their stuff.
So happy finally there is a store in my town that showcases Filipino goods.. the owners are also so friendly and nice..
