Me and the wife booked a cabin for 2 night's. The Lorna. What an absolutely amazing time we had. The lodge was closed, as well as the restaurant. But it was still a blast. Milo was the manager there and was super awesome!!! Hats off to him. The cabin was amazing. The fireplace was great, bed couldn't have been more comfortable. All and all we will be making it a yearly stay. Thanks again. Steven and Natasha

We had the pleasure of getting married at Chute Lake Lodge in September 2022. The weekend exceeded our expectations in every way and we cannot thank the team at Chute Lake enough for their part in our dream wedding.
Our guests could not and have not stopped raving about the venue, accommodations and particularly the FOOD (which was stellar - a few guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had - thank you Mary & kitchen team!).
If you are considering a smaller, outdoorsy wedding and want guests and the Bride & Groom to be comfortable and taken care of by the staff - don't look any further.
Thank you Patrick, Milo, Bobby & team for making our wedding the best weekend of our lives.
-J&O and our puppy Kootenay.

You'd expect the food here to be subpar, but it was actually great! I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent coffee, breakfast sandwiches, generous dinner portions and selection of really good beer. Excellent amenities including firewood and showers. It was the most comfortable bed on the Kettle Valley Trail from Midway to Penticton at the places we stayed; I only take off one star because it was also the most expensive. (Advice to the Lodge is also to add an instruction manual for the wood stove as some in our group did not know how to use dampers.)

I’m response to the “owners” response:
There was multiple open tables when we were there. We stopped in expecting to pay top dollar for pub food and was ignored for almost half an hour so we left. People all around us were getting served except us.
Original review:
My family and I spend almost every weekend in the chute lake area. I have been to this place several times this year.
Unfortunately yesterday (Oct 1, 2022) I stopped in with my family for lunch and we were all disappointed with the lack of service.
When we arrived, we checked in with the staff and took a table outside. We waited 10 minutes before menus were dropped off and received absolutely no service beyond that.
20 minutes after we arrived, a couple sat at the table beside us and was promptly served with menus and water, the server took their drink order and left without acknowledging our calls to get his attention. Once the table beside us (that was seated 20 minutes after us) was served, we left.

We had an amazing stay at Chute Lake lodge with our pup. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The yurts are cozy, clean and nicely decorated. Bobby at reception made sure we had everything we needed. Yes, the food may be a bit pricey but the location is pretty remote. I was so pleased to see vegan and vegetarian options that aren't just a salad!! Everything was fresh and delicious. A wonderful spot with a wonderful team keeping it running
