So me and my girlfriend stayed here about a week back now & what i have to say about this place is.. it’s gorgeous and it’s in a good spot to have glamping tents & a Great Lake but here is the downside. We arrived at our tent thinking everything was clean, but it was not. There was baby spider eggs on our pillow and it was dusty and seemed like no one had even bothered to clean our tent for us.. like housekeeping should. There was mold on the floor boards which got us deathly sick for our entire trip, the pillows and the blanket smelled musty like as i said, had not been cleaned or washed properly. I would highly recommend staying in your own tent or maybe the cabins because the tents were NOT it! Please do better at cleaning these for your guests. There was also dead bugs from outside in our bed, i saw hairs & mold. But i will say, the food was amazing we had at the lodge, those nachos are too perfect to be real… so if you plan on staying here, bring your own tent & next time ill bring a dirt bike Lol.

Enjoyed a stay at Chute Lake last weekend. Yurts were cozy, clean and very comfortable. Meals in the lodge were delicious, well priced with excellent service. Chute Lake is a treasure, just love it there. The right balance of rustic in a gorgeous natural setting!

What a fantastic place to stay and enjoy some zen time. Stayed in a yurt overnight after a 3 hour cycle up the KVR trail and it was so comfy and private . The fireplace added that extra touch along with the most comfy beds with down duvets. The food and service in the rustic Resterant was fabulous with a great selection of cocktails . Nothing better than waking up to coffee and baileys.

Rented a yurt and was disappointed to find that it was located in an open dirt road directly beside the other yurts - no privacy or outdoor space on the glamping sites. Tons of dirt bikes and atvs, seems like a good location for people with recreational vehicles but not good for a relaxing getaway. Also the food prices were really high vs. the portion sizes, food quality didn't justify the price either. It costs $40/hr for the sauna and I've gone to luxury spas that charge less than that. Overall, wouldn't recommend as a place to relax.

Comfort Camping on the Lake. The road to Chute Lake is everything they promised it would be, especially when they caution you to go slow on the last eight kilometers of dirt road. We did see a bear, and they are a common sight around the campground, so keep your food in your trunk. The restaurant is an authentic log cabin it's gorgeous, dark, and earthy. I love it! It also doubles as the reception area. We had the Garden Spritz, Lavender Gin Fizz, Parmesan Truffle Fries, and White Wine Muscles. The food was good, and the drinks were amazing, but it was pricey for the portion size, and the fries were over salted. Megan is a wonderful and very hard-working receptionist, server, bartender, and clearer. So it took time for your drinks and food to arrive. The showers are in another building close to the restaurant/ main lodge, but we didn't use them for the short time we were there. You can park close to the comfort lake camps but not right beside your spot. #3 has the most private dock. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in my life, and the view was amazing. In the middle of June we did have to light the wood stove through the night, but we were cozy in bed. There is a port-a-potty nearby but bring a flashlight. The one and only plugin inside the tent is used for the two lights provided, so bring a small power bar if you want extra plugins. All bedding and towels are provided, but the towels look like something out of your Grandma's closet and aren't very fluffy. For the price they're missing a few things that you find in other glamping areas like a coffee maker, a small fridge, a heater if you don't want to get up through the night and add logs to the stove. The tents are also quite small, and along with a 10 AM checkout, it quickly looses it's glam. Overall, we had a nice time it's a beautiful area, and the beds are amazingly comfortable. Remember, your price includes them hauling all this cool stuff up to such an incredibly remote area. It's a novelty, but I don't think we'll be back.
