The room was very spacious, very clean & bed was very comfortable. It would be five star if it hadn’t been for the inconvenience of the construction happening on the other side of our bedroom wall. We decided to take the afternoon to relax in our room before dinner after lots of traveling & it was quite loud. The construction isn’t during the evening or early morning though so it was peaceful during those periods. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. I liked that they provided a paper bag to-go for some of the pre-packaged items. The lemon coffee cake was delicious. Hotel staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Have to say.... it was the worst stay of any past Best Western. As mentioned by another review...no shampoo or conditioner but that's just the start. It started off good. When our room wasn't ready and we got an upgrade to the penthouse. From there everything went bad. Yes..it's the penthouse but in the middle of winter you would like the heat to work properly. It took a day and half for it to equalize. With miscommunication from the front desk staff, we were informed our stay was for just one night. We were told that we needed to move at 9pm that evening and after a long day of work. That's not a problem but the hotel made it one. Telling me how put out they will be by leaving us in the room for another 4 nights although my rate was higher than the original room. The real issue was the lack of housekeeping, in fact, there was no house keeping for 3 full days of our 4 full day stay. Then told by management that I was wrong. That's where I get upset. I was also told after the fact , that there was no housekeeping on the weekend. Well....we started the Friday morning with... No towels, no fresh bed or made bed, no shampoo, no hand soap and now, no housekeeping for the weekend. I haven't yet mentioned the trolley for luggage. It looked like it was used for the construction workers downstairs..... the construction that I wasn't warned of when booking the hotel. When putting in a complaint at the front desk management emailed me later that, and proceeded to tell me I was wrong and there won't be further compensation, when I didn't even ask for compensation to begin with. I just wanted a pleasant stay after a long day of work. Is that to much to ask ?
The rooms were renovated really nice and the layout of the room was good! Staff was nice and very close to multiple wineries. We did not get shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom and the mattress with pillows are super uncomfortable. Lots of breakfast options however eggs not so great (everything was good)
This place comes up all aces . The room was ready for us even when we were early. The room was clean and ready for us . The day manager was Chase . This guy knows his stuff and this franchise has to know he's a great one . We asked a number of suggestions like where to go and visit and where he recommended to go for food as we wanted to know where the locals went to eat . He sent us to the Hatching Post. Absolutely incredible food and service. Chase was correct in everything he recommended to us . He should get a commendation for his service and we hope he is line for the next promotion. In this customer's eyes he really deserves recognition for his work and service. We put this place high on the recommended list and do so because of him .
Chase helped us at the check in, he was very friendly and an amazing service by all staff members there. The rooms very clean and spacious and worth the cost. Their included breakfast was memorable as well. Lots of varieties of food. If you are visiting Kelowna and want an economic stay, I think nothing can match this hotel. Very pleased. Thank you.
