We had a wonderful stay at Bench D’Or. Every room was booked while we were there and yet it felt so private and we did not see other guests. Robert was a great host and we had everything we could have needed. Breakfast was great and the e-bikes worked well and were easy to rent. Thank you we will be back.
We absolutely loved our stay here!! Staff was so friendly and the penthouse room was very comfortable and private. Breakfast was great with fresh made orange juice and coffee. The balcony was also private with a great view of the lake with our own stairs to access our room. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway for two!
A magical stay at Bench d’Or from start to finish. It’s hard to describe the beauty and uniqueness of this property and its grounds (gorgeous gardens, pool and outdoor relaxing areas with views of the lake). It was pleasantly unpretentious and the owner Robert treated us like friends. A delicious breakfast in the most relaxing setting. A beautiful spot for a break nearby some of the best wineries in Naramata.
The place in the pictures looks very beautiful, however the reality was completely different for me and my family when visited. The place was filthy, dog food, dog hairs and dog beds inside the house( not everybody loves dogs). Dirty bicycles outside. We arrived one hour earlier and our idea was to drop our luggage and go to our first appointment l. My husband had to use the bathroom and the owner received us extremely rude and kicked us out of the hotel , not even asking if we needed anything. Just said; you don’t like it, GET OUT!! Honestly, for the price and attitude, this place Zero stars
Honestly debated leaving a review as i want this place all to myself! My husband and I had a lovely stay here made even better by our host Olga, who went above and beyond with accomodating any requests. Breakfast was fantastic and the property as a whole is stunning. If you are looking for a getaway from the city with cabin feel to it and you do not stay here you are missing out. Note: remember your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper in case other groups are noisy although we did not have any issues with this.
